Autodesk Revit Architecture® Certification

Autodesk Revit Architecture®

Why certify in Autodesk Revit Architecture®?

Autodesk Revit Architecture® is a leading tool for building information modeling (BIM) used in education and professional environments across the United States. Widely adopted in architecture, engineering, and construction industries, Revit Architecture® enables users to design, model, and document buildings using intelligent 3D components and integrated project data. A Revit Architecture® certification helps students and job seekers demonstrate their proficiency in a building information modeling (BIM) application and supports their academic achievement and long-term career readiness.

Tosa certification for Autodesk Revit Architecture® measures practical proficiency with no prerequisites. It is well suited for students and adult learners who want to validate their ability to develop building information models, create accurate architectural documentation, use BIM tools efficiently, and apply professional modeling and documentation standards.

Skills Assessed

The Tosa for Autodesk Revit Architecture® certification exam evaluates four key domains:

Fundamentals

This domain covers basic functionality and knowledge, including interface customization, project settings, and BIM. It also includes questions on creating and modifying simple building elements, extracting data in the form of bills of material, and setting up legends.

Mastering Modeling

This domain tests the candidate's knowledge of creating and manipulating parametric families. Questions also focus on topography modeling, advanced 3D modeling, and the creation of curtain walls and roofs.

Project Documentation

In this domain, candidates are required to create and use annotations and detail views, and are assessed on their ability to manipulate and manage graphic and visual styles.
