If you are buying for the first time, you will be asked to create a candidate account by selecting “Buy a certification”. Then choose the “Integrity Advocate” option when asked to select your proctoring preference.

Three secure testing options are available:
- Remote proctoring (Integrity Advocate) — take the exam from home or any private location. Available 24/7 with no appointment required. Included with all individual packs purchased in the online store; available as an option for institutions.
- Prometric testing center — take the exam in person at one of thousands of authorized Prometric testing centers worldwide.
- Institution-supervised session — take the exam at your school, university or training center under the supervision of a teacher or administrator. No additional proctoring software or equipment is required.
Remote proctoring allows candidates to take their Tosa certification from home or any private location. The process is fully online and asynchronous: no live proctor watches your session in real time.
Tosa's remote proctoring is powered by Integrity Advocate, which records your session via your webcam and microphone. The recording is reviewed after the exam to verify compliance with Tosa's exam policy before your certificate is issued.
Once you have received your access link, you log in when you are ready, launch the test from the dedicated interface, and enable your webcam and microphone. Proctoring is available 24/7, with no live proctor.
All remote-proctored sessions go through a two-step review process. Integrity Advocate's automated system analyzes the recording to flag potential irregularities. An Isograd examiner then reviews any flagged sessions to make a final determination. Access to recordings is strictly limited to authorized Isograd staff.
