- It is valid for life. However, some companies or institutions may require an update after 3 years.
- Can I prepare for the Tosa exam without a trainer?

There’s no mandatory wait between attempts, but it’s usually recommended to follow 15–18 hours of training to progress a level.

- Absolutely! You can certify your skills on multiple tools (Excel, Photoshop, Python...) and list them all on your resume.

No, there’s no minimum. Certification can be done individually or in groups, depending on your training center’s schedule.

Taking a Tosa Certification
- Where can I take the Tosa certification?

You have two options:
• In-person at a certified test center or training institution (school, university...), under supervision in a dedicated location.

- Can I use a tablet or mobile device to take a test?
- No, only computers (Windows or macOS) with webcam, mic, and stable internet are allowed.
- Can I take the certification from abroad?
- Yes, as long as you have compatible equipment and a stable internet connection.
- What are the technical requirements?

- How does a remote certification session work?

After receiving your confirmation, you log in when ready, launch the test via a dedicated interface, and activate your webcam/mic.
Monitoring is done automatically by our system, with no live human proctor, and is available 24/7.

- How long does it take to receive my results?

Certificates are validated within 10 business days after completion, once exam conditions are verified.
Results are faster for in-person sessions.
Remote Proctoring Service
- What is Integrity Advocate software?
- It’s our remote testing partner — a tool that enables Tosa tests with e-proctoring via your computer’s webcam and microphone.
- Do I need to schedule a session with a proctor?
- No, the process is asynchronous. Automatic checks are done after your session via Integrity Advocate.
Personal Data and Security
- Who can view my certification recording?
- Only our examiners have access to the recordings to verify proper exam conduct.
- Can I access my certification history?
- Yes. If you’ve taken multiple Tosa certifications with the same email, you can find your history and scores in your personal candidate space.
- Are my results shared with my employer or school?
- Results are only shared with the institution that registered you for the certification, in accordance with the terms you accepted.
- Can I update my personal information after registering?
- Yes, you can update certain info (name, email) by contacting our support. All requests are subject to verification to protect your data.
- How long is my data stored?

Isograd, Tosa’s publisher, stores personal data for 4 to 10 years (based on the partner organization's choice).
After that, data is anonymized. All data is stored on secure AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers.
The only personal information Isograd retains is first name, last name, and email address.
- How can I request deletion of my personal data?
